Explore the alley, hotel street and hospital checkpoint. Open the white-glowing sewer lid near the barricade, then drop down with your team to continue underneath it.
Start with a pistol. Loot supplies with E and try the jukebox on Hotel Street.
Bill, Zoey and Chloe follow, cover you and rescue you. Switch characters with Tab.
Phone: items collect automatically. Left stick moves. Right stick aims and fires. Tap JUMP to leap and HEAL / PILLS / ADREN to use an item. Hold RESCUE to revive. Guns reload automatically and never overheat. Zombies move and react 35% slower on mobile.
Hunters pounce. Smokers grapple. Boomer goo calls a horde.

Normal: standard balance. Expert: double infected damage in Default Mode; Romero crowds up to 100 on Normal / 160 on Expert. Romero hits instantly incapacitate.

Default Mode: standard survival with special infected and the Tank boss. Romero Mode: slower survivors, walkers rush when close, small packs from both sides with gaps between groups, stronger shoves; body shots cannot kill; pistol 5 headshots / SMG 4; one hit incapacitates; all zombies focus the fallen survivor until death; first revive is black and white; 20-second pipe bombs. Unlimited ammo pile after the broken-floor drop. Romero head stomps need a fresh jump press just before landing. Bots can heal you with kits.
